FARM 2000
HT BOILERS
The FARM 2000 'HT' (High Temperature) boilers are designed for efficient and controlled combustion of biomass and waste type fuels. Many of these contain volatile gases which represent half of the calorific value and which can only release their energy if burnt at high temperatures.
The boilers therefore have refractory linings to the door and chamber roof with a unique 2-stage combustion system. Secondary air is pre-heated before being mixed with the volatile gases, producing high temperatures, clean and complete combustion. (Low temperature combustion produces smoke, tar and excessive fuel consumption.)
The exhaust gases pass through a multi-tube heat exchanger, transferring heat to the water. No useful heat is lost unnecessarily to the chimney. The entire combustion process is thermostatically controlled and fuel is only burned when required.
'HT' boilers are unique in their high efficiencies and large loading capacities. Re-fuelling is generally only required 2-3 times per 24 hours in winter.
Once per day loading is possible when an accumulator is included in the system
'HT' Advantages
| 2-Stage Air System* and Refractory Lining | Multi Tube Heat Exchanger |
| Pre-heated and mixed secondary combustion air. | Optimum heat transfer to water. |
| Clean and complete combustion. | Minimal Fuel Consumption. |
| Minimal or no smoke. Low ash level. | low average flue temperature. |
| *HT60, 70 & 80 are approved for use in 'Smoke Control Areas' when burning dry cereal straw. | |
