FARM 2000
Why Choose a FARM 2000 Boiler?
Low Cost Heat
FARM 2000 boilers have been developed to produce low cost heat by the controlled combustion of biomass, e.g. wood, woodchips, straw, and some untreated waste. The boilers can be used to operate hot water, central heating and warm air systems, both domestic and commercial.
Biomass is CO2 neutral because the growing crop absorbs almost the same amount of carbon as is emitted during combustion. Therefore, if a fossil fuel fired boiler is replaced by a FARM 2000 boiler, CO2 emissions are reduced. Also, by using waste as energy, landfill volumes can be reduced.
The chart above illustrates the approximate cost of heating with a FARM 2000 boiler using wood or straw compared with other fuels. These comparisons can be adjusted to suit actual/current costs.
30 Years Experience - over 2500 intallations UK and overseas
- FARM 2000 boilers have been produced in the U.K. since 1976 and offer outstanding value from the point of view of efficiency, stoking capacity and convenience.
- All FARM 2000 boilers are CE marked to comply with European Equipment Directives.
- Cumulative design knowledge and experience of combustion plant mean FARM 2000 boilers provide a reliable, practical and economic solution for heating with biomass and waste fuels.
- As well as over 2000 installations in the UK, FARM 2000 have boiler installations in Ireland, France, Germany, U.S.A, Norway and Papua New Guinea.
